Can I cancel my Reservation?
You sure can. Once we are within 48 hours (2-days) of your reservation, the universe demands you are charged a minimum of one full night for any cancellation. No shows and same day cancelations incur the entire cost of stay.
Are you ADA accesible?
In 1903, the Hubble House was the height of residential architecture. In 2024, we strive for accessibility, safety, and comfort. Alas, there will be stairs involved given the House is very intent on remaining historic. We will make this clear multiple times through the reservation process—if you have any questions contact us!
Will I be Charged if I damage & destroy?
Yes, a lot. Don’t do any of those things. We don’t think you will. That’s not who we’re here for. Minimum damage charge is $250.
When do I have to leave?
Checkout is 11am on the day the money runs out. As they say, you don’t have to go home but after you checkout of your room, you can enjoy the main floor and guest grounds till 5pm.
If you need a later check-out time, contact us and we’ll do our best to work with you.
Is Hubble House Haunted?
Built in 1903, the House is 130+ years old and is it’s own person. Hubble House contains multitudes. But not much negative it turns out.
Where can i park?
We have space on the property for 1 car per room. There is also street parking (please be respectful of neighbors always). During festivals/events, street parking may be limited to unavailable.
Which Room is the most haunted?
Room 1. Yes, definitely room 1. We don’t call it Wonderland for nothing.
Can I bring Pets?
We have a lovely Golden Retriever on the property that we try to always keep on ‘his’ side of the House. We love animals but we also understand allergies. Everyone deserves to breathe on holiday. Therefore, we do have one pet friendly room. Dogs under 50 lbs. are allowed in The Blue Spruce with an additional $25 cleaning fee. Dogs are not allowed in the main rooms on the ground floor, but are welcome to enjoy our grounds on a leash. Thou shalt not leave thy doggie alone and uncrated and pets are not allowed in other indoor areas of the house.
Can I Bring Kids?
The House loves entertaining children over 5. All rooms are double occupancy; however, a cot can be added to The Attic and Oceania for an additional $25.
What’s the Noise Policy?
Quiet time is from 10pm to 7am. Golden Rule applies, be respectful, enjoy your bad self but get outta hand and sleep in your car? (That sounds harsh, but there are other paying people involved). More importantly, if the House does not get it’s proper rest and time to recharge, reality could collapse.
If the Cascadia earthquake happens, will I be swept away in a tsunami?
Good news, probably not! The Hubble House is out of the Tsunami inundation zone, so sleep easy. But not too easy because it will suck. Historically. We will all need to work together to save ourselves and others. Don’t worry about it.
Do you have EV Chargers?
Not yet, working on it. Until then the closest are here.
Wait, earthquake?
Yea, big one. Probably not going to happen while you’re on vacation.
Ok, what about bigfoot?
Yea! You can catch some sweet local park talks on the elusive cryptid at Lake Sylvia from time to time (check our event section). If you happen to get a pic of one on one of the many wonderful hikes in the area, the Hubble House would love to eat see it.
I have a special/secret/superimportant need/accomodation? can you help me?
The answer is yes, probably! Please contact us at info@hubblehouseinn.com to find out.
